One thing I’ve noticed as I’ve worked with passionate,authentic and highly sensitive women is that sometimes it can be really difficult to take important decisions, like making the first step in a big career change when they are exhausted and scattered from their current lifestyle . One thing I always say is to them ( and to myself) is to let your body and mind rest before making any choice. ⁠ ⁠ Sometimes we feel rushed, like we absolutely need to make a choice fast and we feel pushed in a corner and like we have no other choice. But we do, always. Placing you self-care first in this case means taking some space and literally let your mind and emotions settle before you can be of service to yourself and others. ⁠ ⁠ Even if it looks like getting out of the room for 5 minutes and taking some slow deep breathes. ⁠ ⁠ ! Before each coaching session I have a ritual. I like to close my eyes, place my hands on the heart and center myself. I start from taking a few deep breathes and quickly my mind is cleared and I feel grounded. Then I feel my heart space and I tune into the energy of the client, even if they're not yet there in front of me ( over Skype or physically). I believe we are all connected energetically, even if far away physically and I love starting the conversation through energy before we adding any words. And then I feel present and ready to hold space for whatever they bring to the session. ⁠ ⁠ Within the next couple of weeks I'm closing off all my coaching spots before leaving for holidays in August. A fresh new week and clean bright desk space makes me feel 💯. I’ve been feeling so inspired all day and grateful for the freedom in my life. Lately I’ve been reminding myself of how fortunate I am to be part a privileged small group of people that are able to wake up in freedom of expression, that have access to education and opportunities to make the world a better place. It’s sounds super cheesy but honestly when you look at most of the world, these possibilities are still just dreams. I really believe it’s our responsibility to make an impact socially in the way that resonates the best for each of us because what’s the point of it all if not to leave a bit better world behind us? I’m really trying to connect with how I can bring more light and impact in my small but big way so more people can have access to this freedom too. You’re so much more powerful than you think, time to play bigger 🙌✨

Sometimes the processes we go through are not as linear as they make us think in the pretty quotes on social media. "If you don't like where you are, change it!". Yes but how? Is it really so simple?   No it's not. In a way it is simple but the way to get there is not easy.   The process is much messier, with lots of grey areas and unique decisions that we are the only ones responsible to make. They require lots of trust and self-acceptance when what we want and need do not fit into a tidy pretty box and may be misunderstood by others.   Like in the case of this gorgeous ( and super fun) client I worked with and that I learned a lot from:  " I signed up to work with you to talk about career transition and finding my passion - however that would involve admitting that I didn't want to focus on coaching as a business venture right now. I felt a bit of a fraud and lazy. Ou work together game me a sense of inner peace and acceptance about moving back into HR - and acknowledging that this is driven by my values of financial freedom and independence which are so imperative to my overall wellbeing/happiness. I loved our conversations, I could hear you listening through the phone. I loved the follow up notes after the session which I still refer to to remind me and ground me. There was no judgement regarding my “ lack of energy” around coaching but also you validated my fear about returning to HR with all that baggage. You are so masterful on “ validation” - which is critical for me to feel safe and trust another. I like how we essentially crafted my ideal job description which gave me the confidence and the courage to ask for what is important to me with recruiters without losing the essence of who I am. Never in all my years have I ever asked for what I need in a job, I have been a “ yes” person and just gone along with the flow.  I would most definitely recommend your services to women who are in transition - whether career/relationship/home and need help to find their new passion and/or be at peace about their new normal.
