One thing I’ve noticed as I’ve worked with passionate,authentic and highly sensitive women is that sometimes it can be really difficult to take important decisions, like making the first step in a big career change when they are exhausted and scattered from their current lifestyle . One thing I always say is to them ( and to myself) is to let your body and mind rest before making any choice. ⁠

Sometimes we feel rushed, like we absolutely need to make a choice fast and we feel pushed in a corner and like we have no other choice. But we do, always. Placing you self-care first in this case means taking some space and literally let your mind and emotions settle before you can be of service to yourself and others. ⁠

Even if it looks like getting out of the room for 5 minutes and taking some slow deep breathes. ⁠

Before each coaching session I have a ritual. I like to close my eyes, place my hands on the heart and center myself. I start from taking a few deep breathes and quickly my mind is cleared and I feel grounded. Then I feel my heart space and I tune into the energy of the client, even if they're not yet there in front of me ( over Skype or physically). I believe we are all connected energetically, even if far away physically and I love starting the conversation through energy before we adding any words. And then I feel present and ready to hold space for whatever they bring to the session. ⁠

Within the next couple of weeks I'm closing off all my coaching spots before leaving for holidays in August. A fresh new week and clean bright desk space makes me feel 💯. I’ve been feeling so inspired all day and grateful for the freedom in my life.
Lately I’ve been reminding myself of how fortunate I am to be part a privileged small group of people that are able to wake up in freedom of expression, that have access to education and opportunities to make the world a better place. It’s sounds super cheesy but honestly when you look at most of the world, these possibilities are still just dreams.
I really believe it’s our responsibility to make an impact socially in the way that resonates the best for each of us because what’s the point of it all if not to leave a bit better world behind us?
I’m really trying to connect with how I can bring more light and impact in my small but big way so more people can have access to this freedom too.
You’re so much more powerful than you think, time to play bigger 🙌✨
